Cookie policy and online trackers

This Cookie Policy is an integral part of the Privacy Policy available here Eqipe Privacy Policy

This site uses cookies, including third-party cookies, to offer services in line with the surfer's preferences and in some cases to send advertising messages. When you visit the site for the first time, a banner will appear containing brief information and the cookie preference management panel as well as a button through which you will be able to accept or not accept all or part of the cookies (the user has the possibility to select/deselect individual categories of cookies, etc.).

Cookies and tracking systems are pieces of information that sites and apps send or read to your devices on your first visit, only to be relayed back to the same sites/apps on your next visit. Cookies are active identifiers; tracking systems are passive systems, based on the mere observation of the user's device configuration. Thanks to these technologies, sites and apps remember actions and preferences (such as, for example, login data, language choice, font size, other display settings, etc.) so that they do not have to be indicated again on the next visit.

These technologies are used to perform computer authentication, session monitoring and storage of information concerning the activities of users accessing a service and may also contain a unique identification code that allows tracking of the user's navigation within the site for statistical or advertising purposes.

There are different types of cookies and other tracking systems that, depending on their characteristics and functions, may persist on your device for different periods of time: so-called session cookies, which are automatically deleted when you close your browser; and so-called persistent cookies, which remain on your device until a predetermined time.

In line with Applicable law, your prior consent for the use of cookies is not always required. In particular, such consent is not required for "technical cookies", e.g. those used for the sole purpose of carrying a communication over an electronic communication network, or strictly necessary to provide a service expressly requested by you (in other words, cookies that are indispensable for the operation of a site).

On the other hand, your prior consent is required for non-anonymised 'analytical' cookies and for profiling cookies, e.g. those that provide statistical analysis on the use of a website or that create user profiles in order to send them advertising messages in line with the preferences they have expressed while browsing.

While browsing the Site, you will receive the following cookies:

Technical cookies, these are cookies that are indispensable to allow navigation on the website and the use of the services requested by the user (so-called navigation or session cookies), allowing the user to be identified and maintained during the session. Without the use of such cookies certain operations could not be carried out or would be less secure. They are not used for any other purpose and are installed directly by the Controller.

Third party cookies, i.e. cookies coming from different third party sites or servers and therefore different from those of the Controller. Please note that these third parties, listed below with the corresponding links to their privacy policies and opt-out mechanisms, process your Personal Data as a data controller on behalf of the Controller. These third parties have in fact signed data processing agreements with the Controller and the cookies have been anonymised by masking IP addresses. Third party cookies are for example:

- Google Analytics. These are cookies that make it possible to analyse and improve the functioning of the Site. This is a type of cookie used for statistical purposes only to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the Site. To disable Google Analytics cookies, you can download and install the opt-out browser add-on provided by Google Analytics. This add-on instructs the Google Analytics javascript code (ga.js, analytics.js and dc.js) to prevent information from being sent to Google Analytics. The add-on is available for the most commonly used browsers. More information on the Google Analytics opt-out add-on: click here.

- For the use of any platforms such as WordPress, Joomla or other CMS, these are functionality cookies provided by the platform in order to optimise the display and language of the Site. To deactivate cookies, you can refer to the privacy policy of the provider, if any.

Profiling cookies are used on the site as indicated in the appropriate banner, which can always be disabled if the user so wishes. Even if the Organisation makes every effort to implement all possible technical measures to disable or neutralise any third-party cookies on its site, sometimes these types of files could still be activated using functions that allow you to interact with social networks, and these could then track your browsing. This could happen, for example, by using the Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter and Whatsapp sharing functions that you find on article pages, or by playing Youtube video clips that are embedded on our site. In this regard, please always refer to the privacy statements provided by the respective social networks.

If profiling/tracking cookies are present, the first time you access any page of the Site, you will see a banner containing a short information notice and the cookie preference management panel/button through which you can accept all cookies. The user has the possibility to select/deselect individual categories of cookies. Consent to the use of cookies is recorded with a special "technical cookie" with the characteristics listed in the cookie table. This cookie may, however, in some circumstances not function properly: in such cases, the user is advised to delete unwanted cookies and to inhibit their use through the functionality of their browser.

User preferences with regard to cookies will have to be reset if different devices or browsers are used to access the Site.

Deactivation of the Site's technical cookies may mean that some services or functionalities of the Site will not be available or may not function properly, and you may be forced to change or manually enter certain information or on each visit.

However, since these types of cookies are sent exclusively by third parties, and since the operator of the Site cannot exercise control over the sending of these cookies to the user's terminal, the relevant objection can only be exercised by accessing the consent forms provided by the aforementioned third parties, if any, or through the settings of the user's browser.

As regards the cookies directly sent by the Site's operator, in addition to the procedure made available on this page, the user may block or delete (all or part of) the cookies also through the specific functions of his or her browser or may decide to deny the consents already given on the "review cookie choices" page in the Site's footer.

If your browser is not present, please refer to the cookie information provided by your browser. If you use a mobile phone, please refer to the relevant manual for further information. If you disable cookies through your browser settings, please note that you must always delete any cookies already present before disabling them.
